Problem Note 53139: The error "BY variables are not properly sorted on data set WORK.DATASTORE_TEMP" occurs upon execution of the VMware Data Acquisition staging job
In SAS® IT Resource Management 3.4, you might receive the following error message when you run the VMware Data Acquisition staging job:
ERROR: BY variables are not properly sorted on data set WORK.DATASTORE_TEMP.
This error occurs because the VMware input table VPX_DATASTORE is expected to be in sorted order, by ID number, before it is read by SAS IT Resource Management.
There is no solution or workaround for this problem.
